Degrees of Lewdity

Degrees of Lewdity general premise is one of suffering, as you the player are relentless broken down by the world you live in in one way or another.

The game opens up from the start with you being extorted for money by a shady orphanage director, which also clues you in on you being an orphan. Great start to your new life as this character.

Upon getting outside for the first time you are introduced to your first of Many scenes of you being raped. It introduces you to the different ways you can respond (Bratty, submissive, defiant, and meek), and also tells you that while yes you can shout for help, it's not going to save you all the time. Hell, even the tools they offer you to help you seemed to be quite bad at protecting you.

You are provided pepper spray through a tutorial, but you'll soon realize it's quite terrible at protecting you. It really only angers the person in question, instead of actually helping you, it often leads to them escalating and harming you back.

As for condoms? Well, if a guy doesn't want to use one? Well he's not going to use one and you will just have to take it. Simple as that.
